În pregătirea primei expoziţii de bulldogi americani am contactat câteva brand-uri de hrana pentru animale de companie, care ne-au tratat fie cu nepăsare fie cu condescenţă.
Cosmin Indrieşiu administrator la Wipet, a înţeles potenţialul colaborării noastre şi astfel am ajuns să hrănim bulldogii americani de la BullRoMania Timişoara 2008 veniţi din Cehia, Ungaria, Slovacia şi România cu ProFormance.
S-ar putea ca ProFormance să fie singura hrană pentru câini destul de buna pentru a fi asociată şi promovată în mediul legat de bulldogii americani în aproape toată Europa Centrală şi De Est.
We have contacted many pet food supliers to sponsor our BullRoMania Show but we were treated with indiference or ironic smiles.

Lucrul despre care doar vorbeam ca despre un vis îndepărtat a trecut ca fulgerul.
Ne-am pus câinii noştrii lângă cei ai ungurilor, cehilor şi slovacilor. Am descoperit că deşi nu ne-am lăsat uşor bătuţi, mai avem ce munci pentru ca să avem bulldogi cu structura excepţională şi temperament pe măsură.
D-nul Eugen Szenaşi a făcut un test de temperament public prin care a demonstrat calităţile necizelate ale bulldogilor noştri care nu au beneficiat de vreun dresaj anterior şi a fost entuziasmat.
Două lucruri importante, ne-am întâlnit între noi prietenii despărţiti de sute de kilometri şi chiar mii şi am celebrat pentru prima data în România un erou al pasiunilor noastre:
BULLDOGUL AMERICAN.
ABNA are intenţia ca evenimentele sale să fie evenimente de famile şi ocazie de bucurie pentru toţi cei interesaţi. Totuşi în avenimentele în care participă multă lume suntem obligaţi să ne concentrăm atenţia asupra copiilor. Părinţii trebuie să ştie mereu unde se află copiii lor şi ce fac aceştia.
Copiii nu vor fi lăsati să alerge nesupravegheaţi şi pe lângă câini străini sau să se apropie de aceştia, să nu le se permită căţărarea pe obiecte, dispozitive, aparate. Nu li se va îngădui să se joace sau plibe în zonele în care câinii sunt închişi sau legaţi, precum nici în locurile în care se află autovehicule.
Este de datoria părintilor sau însoţitorilor pecum şi a copiilor să se comporte astfel încât să nu provoace accidente la evenimentele noastre.
reprezentantii ABNA şi cei ai gazdei evenimentului vor aduce această politică la cunoştinţa tuturor celor care vor intra în locaţia evenimentului ABNA.
Cei care nu respectă aceasta politica vor fi invitaţi să părăsească locaţia evenimentului fără a li se returna vreo taxă.
It is the intention of the ABNA for our events to be family oriented and a place of enjoyment for all attending.
However, due to the large number of participants at our events, it is imperative that we be concerned with the behavior of our children.
Parents must be aware of their children’s presence and behavior at all times.
Children must not be running around unattended and approaching strange dogs at the show. Children must not be climbing on the obstacle course apparatus nor should they be playing in those areas where dogs are in their crates or vehicles.
It is incumbent upon the parents to ensure their children conduct themselves in such a fashion that they do not become a nuisance and/or a risk at our events.
Again, it is the intention of the ABNA for our events to be enjoyed by all. But we must be concerned with the safety and good conduct of our children.
ABNA officers and representatives, as well as members of the hosting club are tasked with the responsibility of ensuring this policy is adhered to and implemented.
Those failing to adhere to this policy will be asked to leave the premises of the show without refund of entry fees.
Regulamentul ABNA cu privire la agresivitarea canină

The American Bulldog National Alliance (ABNA) este recunoscută ca organizaţie care se dedică viitorului sanătos al bulldogilor americani. În consecinţă trebuie să solicităm comportamentul responsabil al proprietarilor şi însoţitorilor câinilor. Sprijinim întru totul premisa că bulldogii american sunt o rasă de lucru şi trebuiesc trataţi ca atare dar în acelaşi timp suntem de neclintit în concepţia că attul rasei noastre este temperamentul echilibrat. Încrederea şi curajul sunt trăsături cheie or câini care sunt supuşi activitătilor care presupun interacţiunea cu oameni şi câini străini. De aceea ABNA a stabilit un set de reguli care stabilesc coordonatele comportamentului câinilor şi a însoţitorilor precum şi al proprietarilor câinilor la evenimentele ABNA.
Fiecare gazdă a unui eveniment ABNA va face cunoscut participanţilor că sunt răspunzători pentru comportamentul propriu şi al câinilor lor. Aceştia trebuie să fie conştienţi ca îşi asumă absolut toate responsabilitătile legale si financiare (rezultate din cheltuieli medicale sau de daune) provocate de câiniipe care-i insoţesc sau îi au în proprietate. Nici gazda evenimentului, nici ABNA nu vor avea nici o răspundere pentru nici o pagubă sau daună de orice fel produsă de participanţi. Celor care nu se supun acestui regulament li se va refuza dreptul de a se afla la vreun eveniment ABNA prezent sau viitor.
Fiecare club şi/sau gazdă ABNA trebuie să anunţe un „inspector„ ales din lista de reprezentanţi ABNA. Trebuie să fie confirmat faptul că inspectorul poate şi va fi prezent. Este de datoria inspectorului să supravegheze locaţia şi ringurile, să identifice problemele potenţiale şi să mentină ordinea şi disciplina la faţa locului în ce priveşte câinii şi oamenii. O altă responsabilitate include susţinerea arbitrului şi raportarea oricărei încalcări a prezentului regulament. Decizia inspectorului de eveniment prevalează oricărei decizii a participanţilor.
Orice câine care arată agresivitate şi în opinia arbitrului nu permite arbitrarea lui în siguranţă va fi eliminat de la toate evenimentele din acea zi. Câinele în cauza va fi ţinut închis pe toată durata evenimentului sau va fi îndepărtat din locaţie. Nu se va returna nici o încasare preluată pentru acel câine.
Oricare câine descalificat în condiţiile de mai sus în oricare două ocazii îi va fi refuzată participarea şi accesul la vreun eveniment ABNA vreme de şase luni de la data petrecerii celei de a doua descalificări.
Notă: După cele şase luni de eliminare câinele în cauză poate fi accetat ca participant la evenimente ABNA în următoarele condiţii:
A. Dovadă scrisă ca a participat la desaj profesionist de socializare;
B. O evaluare directă a trei arbitrii ABNA;
C. Promovarea testului Canine Good Citizen (CGC) sau BH din partea unui arbitru ABNA.
În situaţia în care câinele re-acceptat va fi din nou descalificat se va produce eliminarea pe viaţa de la evenimentele ABNA.Orice câine care dovedeşte o atitudine agresivă care în opinia arbitrului împiedică arbitrajul în siguranţă va fi descalificat de la toate evenimentele din acea zi si va fi ţinut închis în cutia de transport ori va fi îndepartat din locaţia evenimentului. Nu se va face vreo returnare de taxă pentru câinele descalificat.
Dacă un câine muşcă neprovocat trebuie discutată posibilitatea de a fi eliminat pe viaţă de la toate evenimentele ABNA. Acţiunea poate fi retroactivă în cazul vreunui câine care a comis un astfel de act. Dacă un atacul neprovocat a avut loc în afara vreunui eveniment ABNA o anchetă detaliată condusă de o comisie de oficiali şi reprezentaţi ABNA va avea loc. În urma acesteia va fi alcătuit un raport complet către toţi oficialii şi reprezentanţii ABNA pentru a selua o decizie. Orice eveniment care implică muşcătură provocată sau neprovocată al un eveniment ABNA va fi cuprins într-un raport de către responsabili.Toate incidentele vor fi analizate şi se vor lua decizii în urma acestora.
Va fi în sarcina inspectorului de eveniment alături de gazdă şi arbitru să inculdă în raportul oficial al evenimentului numele fiecărui câine participant, al însoţitorilor şi proprietarilor care au fost implicaţi în orice încalcare a acestui regulament, precum şi data, locaţia şi ora comiterii. Raportul trebuie să conţină descrierea detaliată a incidentului precum şi măsuri recomandate. O copie a raportului va ajunge la comitetul pentru contestaţii. Secretatul ABNA va fi responsabil cu înregistrarea oricărui incident raportat în legătură cu încalcarea acestui regulament. Un comitet pentru contestaţii alcătuit din trei reprezentanţi ABNA va analiza contestaţiile celor care consideră că reacţia câinelui a fost provocată şi justificată. Preşedintele ABNA va numi membrii comitetului de contestaţii pentru fiecare eveniment care necesită aşa ceva. Decizia acestui comitet este irevocabilă si se aplică. În cazul unei contestaţii inspectorul evenimentului şi arbitrul vor face o solicitare scrisă pentru alcătuirea comitetului pentru contestaţii.
ABNA AGGRESSIVE DOG POLICY
Adopted: September 15, 1999
Revised: April 25, 2000
The American Bulldog National Alliance (ABNA) is recognized as an organization dedicated to preserving the future of the American Bulldog. Consequently, we must require responsible behavior by dogs, handlers and owners at any of the ABNA sanctioned events. We totally support the premise that the American Bulldog is a working breed and should be treated accordingly; at the same time, we are adamant in our position that stable temperament is paramount in our breed. Confidence and courage are key qualities in dogs that are routinely competed in activities that require them to interact with people and other dogs. Therefore the ABNA has set forth strict guidelines that establish rules and regulations pertaining to the conduct of dogs, handlers and owners attending ABNA sanctioned events.
1.Every club and/or individual that hosts an ABNA sanctioned event must choose and announce a “Show Superintendent” from the list of ABNA Representatives. It must be confirmed that this Representative/ Show Superintendent will be present and available at the stated ABNA event. It will be the responsibility of the Show Superintendent to keep a “watchful eye” on the grounds and rings in order to identify potential problems and to maintain a good order of discipline among all dogs, handlers and owners. Further responsibility includes enforcement of judges’ decisions in regard to the following policy and to aid in the reporting of any infractions of this policy to the ABNA. In all cases, the decision of the Show Superintendent will take precedence over those decisions of others attending the show.
2. Each hosting club/individual shall include on their entry forms, a statement to the effect that owners and/or handlers are responsible for the behavior of their dogs. They are aware of their legal liability to assume any and all financial costs incurred from medical expenses, property damage, etc., caused by their dogs. Furthermore, no one will hold responsible the hosting club/individual(s) nor the ABNA as a whole or any individual holding an office within the ABNA for damages incurred. Non compliance with this policy will preclude those persons and their dogs from entry into any and all future ABNA events.
3. Any dog exhibiting an aggressive attitude that in the judges’ opinion would prevent them from FULLY examining any given dog safely, and without incident, shall be disqualified from all events conducted that day. This same dog shall be crated for the remainder of the day, or be removed from the premises of the show site. There will be no refunds of entry fees for dogs that are disqualified.
4. Any dog disqualified under the conditions described above on any TWO given occasions shall be banned from ABNA show grounds and events for a period of six months from the date of the second offense.
*Note: Upon completion of the six month disqualification period, the dog may be eligible for re-entry into ABNA show grounds and events upon meeting ALL of the following conditions:
A. Written proof of professional socialization training.
B. A physical “hands on” evaluation of the dog by a panel of three ABNA judges.
C. Obtaining a Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title from an ABNA certified CGC examiner.
In the event that the dog is reinstated under the three conditions above, any further offense shall be grounds for lifetime dismissal from ABNA grounds and events.
5. If a dog commits an unprovoked bite, it shall be grounds for a LIFETIME banning from all ABNA events. This action shall be retroactive concerning any dog known to have committed such an action. If this incident did not occur at an ABNA event, a detailed investigation by a committee of ABNA officers and representatives will be conducted. Following the investigation of such incident, a full report will be made to all officers and representatives for appropriate action. All incidents of dogs biting anyone, provoked, unprovoked or otherwise, at any ABNA event will be thoroughly reported by the responsible parties per this regulation. All incidents will receive proper consideration and appropriate action will be taken.
6. A grievance committee made up of three ABNA representatives will settle appeals from owners or handlers feeling that their dog may have been unfairly provoked. The president of the ABNA will appoint the members of the grievance committee for each incident requiring such action. The decision of the grievance committee will be final and binding. In the event of an appeal, the acting Show Superintendent and attending judges will make written recommendations to the grievance committee.
7. Record Keeping: It shall be the responsibility of the Show Superintendent in conjunction with the hosting Club or individual(s), and the attending judges to include within the official show report the names of any dogs, handlers and owners that were involved in any infraction of this policy as well as the date, time and location of the infraction. The report shall outline the incident in detail, the steps taken at the time and the recommended steps to be taken in the future. A copy of this report shall be made available to the grievance committee. The ABNA secretary shall be responsible for maintaining accurate records of any offenses or infractions associated with this policy.

Backyard Kennel seems to be more and more present in romanian bulldog’s pedigrees. They’ve brought us Igor’s blood and now we have Cockbloker’s blood in an atomic mix with Sharon.
Well, we’ll wait to see Kimbo as a big boy!

Azi s-a încheiat votul pentru primul preşedinte ASPBAR pentru o perioadă de doi ani.
Au votat 8 persoane din 14. Patru persoane fiind în imposibilitatea de a vota din chestiuni personale.

3 voturi Dan Sabau - Saint John’s Kids;
Primul preşedinte al Consiliului Permanent ASPBAR este domnul Tavi Oaie de la Half and Half.
Dan Sabau a declinat onoarea de a candida rezervându-şi liberatea de a se implica in alte moduri, Cu toate acestea 3 membrii au considerat necesar sa voteze cu Dan Sabau.
Este probabil cel mai bun semn că ASPBAR urmează căi oneste şi democratice de funcţionare.
Today we have the results of the election for the Permanent Council of ASPBAR for the next 2 years.
8 members out of 14 has expressed their vote this way:
5 votes for Octavian Marius Oaie from Half and Half;
3 votes for Dan Sabau from Saint John’s Kennels.
The first elected president of The Permanent Council of ASPBAR is Mr. Tavi Oaie from Half and Half.
Dan Sabau politely declined the honor of being nominated, nevertheless 3 members considered usefull to nominate and to second him.
It is probabilly a good sign showing that ASPBAR is following honest and democratic ways.
Clubul German de American Bulldog organizează Show de conformaţie şi Irondog în 19 si 20 Aprilie 2008 cu acreditare ABNA.
Sâmbătă se va ţine IronDog.
Înscrierea va fi 25€ pe zi/ câine. Dacă se vine cu mai mulţi câini şi se face încriere pentru amândouă zilele taxa este de 20€ pe zi/ câine. IronDog are taxă de 20€ per câine.
Show-ul se ţine în Weilerswist ( Hof/ Westerwald Deutschland, 56472 ), Germania, are posibilităţi de cazare, duşuri şi alte facilităţi de igienă.

It seems a good ideea to offer a communication media for all the bulldoggers in Central and East Europe through this blog.
Of course it is really easy to have your own blog and it is a very good ideea.
What we are offering is a community. It is about keeping in touch, learning together and helping each other.
So, one don’t have to be an ASPBAR member to post on our blog as long as that one is observing the principles of a recongnized club, as HEABC for instance.

Este sau nu nevoie să le combatem?
În România avem două reviste dedicate câinilor: Dog Fancy şi Dog Magazin.
Revista Dog Magazin a prezentat un articol despre Bulldogii Americani în numărul 69 din februarie 2008.
Apreciem intenţia bună şi salutăm apariţia acestui articol.
Noi ca şi asociaţie a pasionaţilor acestei rasei avem desigur pretenţii mai înalte şi chiar sensibilităţi care scapă celor neiniţiati.
Acesta este motivul pentru care crescătorii de bulldog american din România ar fi fost încântaţi să colaboreze, dacă ar fi fost contactaţi.
De altfel completa ignorare a existenţei unui grup dedicat de crescători români de bulldog american nu pune de loc în lumină favorabilă revista Dog Magazin şi pe autoarea articlolului.
Minimul unui articol dedicat unei rase este marcat de câteva necesităţi: o scurtă istorie, o prezentare succintă a fiziologiei şi temperamentului ( standardul nu este indispensabil ), pomenirea unor crescători cu indiscutabilă influenţă în evoluţia rasei şi (mai ales în cazul raselor rare) a celor mai legitimi crescători locali.
În locul unui istoric minimal, autoarea a mizat pe o mitologie confuză a mastiffilor, buldogului englez, bull and terrierului şi alauntului. Cu excepţia unei propoziţii în care se spune vag că un grup de entuziaşti a lucrat la salvarea rasei, excursul prezentat este absolut paralel tema articolului.
O inspiraţie bună s-ar fi dovedit includerea standardului ABNA dacă n-ar plana suspiciunea “fill the space”.
Sursele citate sunt Owl Hollow Kennels al lui Alan Scott şi ABNA.
Desigur, cu excepţia traducerii standardului ABNA este imposibil să identific ce anume din cele două surse poate fi măcar inspiraţie în articolul pomenit.
În concluzie, apreciez faptul că s-a alocat spaţiu în revistă pentru această minunată rasă şi deplâng calitatea jalnică a articolului şi ofensatoarea ignorare a crescătorilor europeni (cel puţin cei din Europa Centrală şi de Est sau în mod minimal cei români ) de bulldog american.
Ca observaţie finală menţionez că pur şi simplu Dog Magazin nu se disociază de puppy millers, de fermele de câini. De fapt incurajează acest fenomen, condamnat de orice om civilizat, publicând reclame la fabrici de căţei care au un singur scop: să facă bani chinuind câinii şi înşelând oamenii creduli.
Minimul act etic al revistei ar fi să refuze publicarea reclamelor care anunţă vinderea de căţei din zeci de rase. Dacă nu pot recunoaşte asemenea escroci nu sunt calificaţi să publice o revistă despre câini. Decât o revistă pentru puppy millers mai bine niciuna.
Încasând bani din reclamele fabricilor de căţei care înşeală naivii, Dog Magazin se face complice la fraudele puppymiller-ilor.
Să sperăm că Dog Fancy nu le calcă pe urme.

Parte din informaţiile legate de isoria mastifiilor, alaunţilor şi legătura cu bulldogii precum şi numirile “varietaţilor ” de bulldogi din sudul SUA reprezintă contribuţia originală al lui Dave Putnam precaut intitulată “A version of the American Bulldog History”. În articol sursă nu este citată, deşi parte din informaţiile citate sunt cercetări individuale ale lui Dave Putnam. Wikipedia îl citează pentru o mai mică inspiraţie.
In Romania we have just two dog magazines. They are Dog Fancy and Dog Magazin.
Dog Magazin published an article about American Bulldog in february 2008.
I am happy that they decided to write about our beloved breed. Of course, we as breeders, have higher expectations and some sensibilities which they cannot observe. That is why we would expect to be asked to offer our help. Well It didn’t happened.
I guess nobody in the right minds will not look favorable to an article that completelly ignores the existence of a serious, compact and organised group of a rare dog breed.
A minimum requirement of a dog breed related article is to mention few history facts about the presented breed, to present the breed overing the look as well as the temper and what is making it so special (the standard is not a “sine qua non” that is up to the lenght of the article ), to mention some breeders with a good and proved influence in the evolution of the breed and the mention of some local proved breeders and their club of associations is a “must do”.
The author of the mentioned article in Dog Magazin choosed to present a confusing mythology of mastiffs, old english bulldogs, bull and terriers and alaunts. With the exception of one sentence mentioning a group of enthousiasts that worked to save the breed there really is nothing to link to our breed. Presentin the ABNA standard would have been noticed as a good Ideea if the reader would not feel the necesity of just filling the page.
The author mentions ABNA site and Owl Hollow kennels site as sources. Well I don’t think anyone is able, excepting the translation of ABNA standard to learn why she did mentioned that.
There is nothing common with ABNA site, and there really is nothing that I was able to identify as inspired by ABNA or Alan Scott’s site.
As a conclusion I am glad about the decision made by Dog Magazin to publish an article about American Bulldog but I am sad by the extremelly low quallity of the article and the offensive exclusion of the European breeders (at least Romanian and Eastern and Central European breeders).
As a final observation this magazine simply won’t cut itself from the puppy millers. In fact it helps the puppy millers by filling the add pages advertising a lot of so called kennels selling puppies all over the years from 20 and more dog breeds.
At least this so called magazine for dog lovers should do is to forbid such add, but, hey, Dog Magazine speaks for itself trough the articles quallity and the associations they make excluding serious and legitimate breeders and including puppy millers.
Taking money to publish adds for those swindlers who exploit dogs and cheat naive people Dog Magazin is making itself part of the fraud.
Lets hope Dog Fancy will prove to be better.

Iniţiativa formării Heart of Europe American Bulldog Club le aparţine şi se constituie ca un demers fundamental pentru bulldogii americani din Europa de Centrală şi de Est.
HEABC ne-a dăruit, nouă, iubitorilor rasei mai multe expoziţii şi demonstraţii. Deşi drumul lor este doar început aportul HEABC la promovarea rasei nu poate fi usor cuantificat.
With the motto: “More power” this kennel located in Czech Republik presents us their work that goes back in 1998. VeeEight’s American Bulldog Kennels is dedicated to working ambulls.
On their site you can see Jerry that comes from Tenesko Neraka Kennels, the son of Kennedy’s Rocky Dangerfield and Crazy Legs. Jerry is tha fundation of all the blood running through the V8’s pedigrees.
Just a fugitive look at Jerry’s picture will make yu guess what this kennel is up to.
You can see also a massive female called Betsy which concentrate the attention on her, where ever she is going.
The site is going to be relocated and we hope we will see then Flying Fortress aka Nutty, an excellent working female with an hanging time of 40 minutes.
V8 had the initiative of forming Heart of Europe American Bulldog Club which is a fundamental move for Central and Eastern Europe. Heabc has offered to the bulldog enthousiasts many shows and demonstrations. Although they don’t have a long history their work for promoting American Bulldogs is not easy to weight.

Pentru europeni problema FCI nu este una de luat cu usurinţă în discuţie.
FCI este cel mai important organism chinologic din bătrâna Europă.
Dar totodată este acuzata de criticii săi ca aduce atingere funcţionalitătii raselor prin accentuarea expoziţiilor de frumuseţe.
American Bulldog nu este o rasă recunoscută de FCI.
Multi nici nu doresc asta.
Unora însă pericolul nu le pare la fel de mare ca disconfortul de a avea de lucru cu zeci de entităţi care eliberează pedigree si organizează show-uri.
Alţi vor doar să se prezinte la cât mai multe show-uri.
Care va fi oare direcţia American Bulldogilor din Europa?
The FCI subject is not to be taken easy for any european dog fancier as FCI is the most important dog association in the Old Europe.
In the same time, FCI is accused to be predominantelly show oriented and by this FCi is ruining many working breeds.
American Bulldog is not a breed recongnized by FCI, and many involved in the breed reject the ideea.
There are some for whom the chaos about the registers, clubs and so on is more painfull the the potential threat made by any FCi orientation.
I wonder, what will be the way for the American Bulldogs in Europe? With or without FCI?

A venit vremea sa trecem la pasul următor. Maturitatea unei organizaţii cu specificul nostru se cere dovedită în organizarea expoziţiilor.
Pentru că până acum nu am beneficiat de alceva decât de planuri şi vise suntem destul de temători ca nu cumva tot ceea ce facem să fie în final doar atât.
Din fericire pentru bulldogging-ul românesc avem alături de noi pe Eva Bucatoş care prin activitate fermă ne imprimă spiritul de care aveam nevoie.
Ideea este că ne propunem ca în luna mai din 2008 să organizăm la Timisoara primul show ASPBAR dedicat exclusiv rasei iubite de noi, American Bulldog.
Aşadar, alaturati-vă noua, toţi iubitori ai rasei pentru a organiza acest eveniment.
Putem fi ajutaţi cu sugestii, idei, opinii, grafică pentru bannere, icon-uri, texte, pliante, etc.
Bulldoggeri pentru bulldogi, hai să ne demonstrăm pasiunea.

The time has come for us to take the next step.
The maturity of a organisation such as ours needs to be proved in the fire of shows organisation.
We fear thet because all we did or meet as bulldoggers in Romania were plans or dreams, we will stay stuck in the same pattern.
Fortunatelly we have in our ranks a powerfull character as Eva Bucatos that is capable to give a proper pace to our activity.
The ideea is to organise the first ASPBAR’s American Bulldog Show in Timisoara at 17 May 2008.

D-nul Adrian are nevoie de un câine viteaz. El are experienţă cu rottweilleri şi acesta a fost un motiv să se încumete să crească bulldog american.
Sunt sigur că în acest cuib s-au născut doar viteji.
D-nul Adrian a botezat puiul D cu numele Ice.
Mr. Adrian has been a lot around breeding Rottweillers so he had the courage to move to American Bulldogs. He wants a brave dog, I am sure that all the puppies from SJKids are brave and full of drive.
Mr. Adrian named his puppy Ice.
